How the programme works:

Step 1:

For 30 days you will avoid the following as these are foods that generally not beneficial for overall wellbeing. An elimination diet is the most reliable way of identifying things which you might have an intolerance to.

  • Sugar and artificial sweeteners (e.g. sucralose, aspartame)
  • Alcohol
  • Coffee
  • Dairy
  • Wheat and gluten-containing foods
  • Soy (however, fermented soy such as organic, non-GMO tempeh is an acceptable vegan protein option)

Step 2:

For 30 days you will follow a structured healthy menu. As a qualified cook, I will create a menu for you which takes your circumstances, preferences and lifestyle into consideration. This menu will incorporate a range of supplements which will ensure that you are receiving all the nutritional support you need. Most people who eat a western diet do not consume anywhere near the required amount of micro nutrients – these are essential for brain and body function. Through this programme your mindset will be attuned to what can I add to this meal to make it more nutritious? Diets based on calorie counting are simply not sustainable.

You will typically every 4 hours. You will also increase your normal intake of water, and this will be supplemented with delicious fruit flavoured micronutrients that will help you manage the effects of removing coffee, tea, soft drinks and alcohol from your diet. At least one of your meals will be a protein shake – these are great if you need breakfast on the go.

You will prioritise self care, with time for rest, meditation, exercise or anything else that makes you feel good.

Together we will track your progress and make modifications based on how you are feeling.

Step 3:

After the first 30 days you will do a staged re-introduction of the things you have cut out, at 3 days intervals, noting how this makes you feel. You might identify that you feel better when you don’t consume diary, or nuts, or gluten etc. and you can then make decisions about reducing or eradicating these from your diet.
