It’s a wrap

I find any meal that the kids can construct themselves is always consumed with more gusto than if they are served a full plate. Wraps are a good example – and better still they are quick, economical and healthy too.

Vegetarian ones are great, but in the event you want to bulk it up chicken is a good choice. Simply slice chicken fillets thinly and coat in some plain flour seasoned with salt, pepper and paprika. Dust off before frying gently in a little sunflower oil.  Mix some mayonnaise with a crushed garlic clove and a handful of finely chopped chives. Spread over your wrap and place the cooked chicken on top.

Now top with your favourite salad vegetables. You can add grated cheese and salsa too for extra flavour.

Fold up the base and it’s a wrap!

P.S playing with your food and making smiley faces is permitted!
